This year during our holiday in Normandy we visited Villerville, the shooting location of Henri Verneuils
UN SINGE EN HIVER, a favorite film of mine and and a wonderful french classic from 1962 starring Jean Gabin and Jean-Paul Belmondo.
Unfortunately the CABARET NORMAND was closed this day but one could have a peak inside and eat some galets in the creperie towards sitting under the american vintage poster. Strolling afterwards through this charming little village was quite blowy and quite touching - on the marks of a real gem - being conscious that they don't make them like this these days.
