This year I discovered this real gem of a movie, "IO LA CONOSCEVO BENE", from italian director Antonio Pietrangeli with the very young Stefania Sandrelli as Adriana, a country girl who dreams of becoming famous in Rome. She tries her best but the results are mostly disappointing...

The film offers a great cast of male sidekicks like Ugo Tognazzi, Franco Nero, Robert Hoffmann, Jean-Claude Brialy and is a bittersweet settlement with the desire for stardom and frightening in its current issue. 

Female Jungle

My works - a selection of 6 photographs from the series FEMALE JUNGLE - are currently exhibited at the group show DAS ANTLITZ! at Wuerttembergischer Kunstverein Stuttgart. The exhibition runs until 15 September 2013, opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday 11 am to 6 pm, Wednesday from 11 am to 8 pm.
